In Europe there are high speed trains which are a great way of getting about. If you are used to the expensive prices and slow service from British Rail then it may make you reluctant to take the train but these are very different. They run efficiently and are therefore very good value for money and they are faster than UK trains. It is a great way to travel because you get to places quickly and you can also relax and watch the world whiz by. Consider them over driving because it will feel much more like a holiday if you do not have to worry about driving on the other side of the road, finding your way around and those foreign drivers!
